Fall/ Winter 14 Trend Analysis

Big is back and just in time for the inevitable drop in temperature that is coming in a few months. What better way to stay cozy than in an extra-large cardi or slouchy sweater? For fall’s crisp temperatures, designers propose a large quantity of long and lean knits with oversized proportions highlighting a relaxed mood of easy layering and elegant comfort. Fashion brands took cozy staples like sweaters and skirts, and gave them a luxe makeover with fresh cuts and lengths.

Sarah Hankinson

Meet Sarah Hankinson, an amazing fashion illustrator from Melbourne, Australia. Her illustration style is feminine, delicate and youthful and strongly fashion orientated. Her works contains occasional splashes of color and mix media technique using different materials such as inks, charcoal, pencils, cut paper and fabrics.

Sarah has worked with international clients such as Harper’s Bazaar Magazine, Maybelline New York-Austraila, be magazine Paris and US Target.

 

Re.Cover

New York based Brazilian interior designer Ana Strumpf presented “ Re.Cover”, a vibrant and exciting exhibition in São Paulo last summer. The exhibition displayed 28 unique covers of fashion magazines such as Vanity Fair, Vogue, AnOther, ELLE, which the designer altered by hand using sharpie and DecoColor pens. Each cover is exceptional and fun, it makes me want to grab my markers and make my own version of it.
